We all know kids say the funniest things. I could make a post everyday on things my kids say. I knew before having kids that this would be one of the cute things I could enjoy. What I didn't know before having kids was some of the things I would say out loud! Had someone told me the things I would say, I wouldn't have believed them. As a parent it's everyday life. But if you were hanging around I'm sure you'd get a laugh at it. Here is a few things I've said aloud in the last week.
1.Use your words- I heard this by other parents before I had kids didn't get it. Soooo get it now. I say it to often.
2.Please don't put makeup on your brother or the dog.
3.No you can't marry your aunt-My 5yr old was talking about marriage and asking questions about it. I told him when he gets way older he will marry someone that he loves. He has a favorite aunt. Told him it's a different kind of love.
4.Please don't put underwear on your head.
5.I'm sorry you can't grow peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches - We have planted a few flowers and my kids were asking what else they could grow. My 5yr old and 4yr old insist on planting a peanut butter and jelly sandwich so it can grow.
6.Farting on people is not funny.
7.Get the Lego's out of the speakers.
8.No you can not dip your chicken in chocolate.
9.If you keep putting things in your nose, its going to get stuck.
Now that your done laughing at me. What are some funny things you've said lately?

I want I want I want I want
Having three little kids I hear the phrase I want a lot. Mom I want. But, mom I just want. Please mom I want. Sometimes there is an added whine with it. Or the added puppy dog look. Mom wants too but she never gets to tell anybody about it. As a mom I know that wants are wants and that needs come first. Then when there is a little extra for wants it usually goes to the kiddies. It makes you feel good to give them something a little extra every now and then, and its totally OK to sacrifice your wants for theirs. Well virtual world, I know you get it so I can tell you my wants without feeling bad.
Mommy wants
I want to be able to catch all those important memories of the kids, family, and friends. My camera just wont record long enough. I want to make those memories last forever!
My three little ones can make a mess. Our vacuum is more than a few years old. You have to go over and over and over it again to get it to suck anything up. It takes forever to vacuum. I am a mom of three, I don't have time to waste.
I have had three kids back to back (ages 4,3,1). My weight has gone up and down. After the last one I have worked my butt off to get rid of all the extra baby weight. Yea medium shirts and size 7 jeans!!!!We aren't having any more kids so the weight will stay off. I am tired of wearing my old baggy clothes. It doesn't make you feel or look good to wear clothes that don't fit. This want may just move to the need section soon.
Mom wants, mom wants, mom wants! Its OK that these probably wont happen, but its OK to dream right?

I'm an Auntie
I'm An auntie!!!! It has a lot of mixed feelings that go with it. The situation is really complicated and not really my business to tell. So, not a lot I can really say about it. Babies are gifts from God. I love babies! I am really hoping that no matter how complicated the situation is I can still be apart of the babies life. She is so precious. The feeling of holding her and know that she is my niece was really awsome!
Welcome to the world Melannnie. I already love you and am really hoping to stay apart of your life.

Wedding Song
My wedding song was Angel by Sarah McLachlan. I have been with my husband since I was fifteen. When we were younger and dating ,we watched the movie City of Angels. That's when we decided that Angel was are song as a couple. Funny weird puppy love thing. Years later, when we were engaged deciding on every little thing, I asked , "What are we going to have as our wedding song"? He looked at me like I was stupid and said, "Our song!!!!" That's what I was hoping for but things change over time you know!
I know this song has underlined meaning to it. But to me, it reminds me how much we were in love when we were teens. If you have ever seen the movie City of Angels you know it shows what you would do for love. Now we are older and still in love.

Coffee, computer, and telling the truth oh my!
Some lessons you learn the hard way. I usually start my mornings with a cup of coffee. Yes, I love me some coffee in the mornings. Its how I survive.
Two mornings ago, I was drinking my cup of coffee while I was reading some blogs. Yes, I was drinking coffee next to my laptop (the only computer in the house). In the blink of an eye, my cup of coffee knocked over , spilling over my lovely lap top. Ithink I said SHIT out loud grabbed towels in a hurry and was trying to save my lap top.
My four year old son came over to see what was going on. I tried explaining to him that mom was cleaning a mess. Please stay back. I love you, mom is mad at herself not you. Please stay back until the mess is cleaned. My son said, Is dad going to be mad? Are you in big trouble? In my head I was thing ya dad is going to be mad and am in huge freaking trouble. I told him that sometimes accidents happen and that it might make some people upset but they will understand that sometimes accidents happen.
I kept cleaning and drying out the laptop. After I was all done and the laptop was put away in hope that it might kind of work again someday. My son came back to me and sat on my lap and asked, Mom are you going to tell dad the truth? How did my four year old even come up with this? I told him that it is always the best to tell the truth no matter what.
My husband was really understanding! Thank God! Guess what I am using to write my blog post? My laptop. Its not completely fried like I thought. The keys are a little sticky and the screen has this weird mark on it, but it works. Yea! It is still usable.
Lesson learned: Do NOT drink coffee by the laptop
